How does the background remover work?
This tool detects the background color (either automatically from the image corners or from your selection) and removes all pixels within the specified color tolerance. It uses edge softness to create smooth transitions. For best results, use images with high contrast between the subject and background.
What types of images work best?
Images with solid, uniform backgrounds (white, green screen, blue screen) work best. Product photos on white backgrounds, headshots with solid backgrounds, and green-screen photos give excellent results. Complex or gradient backgrounds may need higher tolerance and manual adjustment.
Can I replace the background with a custom color?
Yes. Select "Replace with Color" from the Background Action dropdown, then choose your desired replacement color using the color picker or preset swatches.
